CLOSED Mail (SMTP) problems

9h40 We got warnings some mails were not coming through our SMTP gateway. Our engineers start investing the problem.

9h56 We notice that our SMTP gateway is failing. Our engineers will reset the SMTP gateway and a technical engineer already left to the datacenter for physical inspection of the gateway. We cannot give an estimate time of repair at this moment.

10h10 Gateways are back online. Our engineers are investigating what caused the problem.

CLOSED Windows VPS System

10:22h: Our monitors reported a problem with one of our Windows Virtual Private Server hardware nodes. Engineers are looking into the cause.

11:14h Engineers are still investigating the unexpected downtime. At this point, we can not give an estimated time when a solution will be found.

11:33h The problem has been tracked down, our engineers are providing a fix for it. It is situated within the Virtualization Layer of the technology. The problem is preventing network connections from reaching the Virtual Servers.

12:26h The underlying problem has been solved, all containers should again be available within 5 minutes.

CLOSED Windows VPS System

22h22: We noticed one of our Windows VPS servers had an unexpected problem. Our engineers are on route to investigate.

22h40: One of our engineers arrived at the datacenter to investigate further.

22h45: The server is back online, and all Virtual Servers are again booting. We are still further investigating the exact cause of the unexpected downtime.

Reason: Windows & Virtuozzo updates
Consequences: Your Virtual Private Server will be unavailable during this maintenance window.

Update 02:00h: the maintenance is expanded for one server, due to a longer file system integrity check. It should be up and running again in 30 - 45 minutes.
